Directions from Faro airport to Praia Da Luz...

These directions assume you have flown into the area at Faro airport some 55 miles (89 kilometres) to the east of Luz.  Travel time is about 50 minutes once you have collected your car.

• The airport road is the N125. This is also the road that contains most of the Hire Car collection and return depots.
• Take the N125 away from the airport.
• Take the right filter with a sweeping right bend onto the A22 marked by a blue sign A22 Lisboa, Portimao and Loule.
• When you see the football stadium “Estadio Algarve” to your right, be prepared to take the next right filter / turn signposted A22 Lisboa and Albufeira just after the stadium. This is junction 4, (approximately 13 km) from the airport.
• You are now on the main motorway A22 / E01 which takes you 70 km before you need to make any further turns. You will see signs for Vilamoura, Portimao, Lagos en route.
• Exit at Junction 1 (just past the Lagos services) signed Vila de Bispo (N125)
• 3 km or so to a roundabout. NB; watch the speed bumps on the approach to the roundabout - straight over (no other option actually).
• I km to the next roundabout – turn right, signposted Sagres and Vila de Bispo
• You pass Boa Vista Golf Resort on your left - straight on at the traffic lights.
• 2 further sets of traffic lights – straight on.
• Traffic lights- straight on, then left filter at the next set (100 metres) signposted Luz. (For reference Espiche is to your right).
• Up the hill to a roundabout (600 metres or so) – turn right, signposted Burgau.
• Drive slowly for about 800 metres – looking to your left along this road you will see some orange apartment blocks in the distance with two pinkish apartment blocks to their right. That is where you are aiming for.
• When you get to a development on your left called Paraiso Da Luz, turn left (watching for traffic coming down the hill towards you).
• Take the next immediate left, which will take you past both pink blocks. Between the orange and pink blocks turn right and immediately right again, past the first pink block (actually Lote 2).
• Park up outside the second pink block, (Lote 1).
• The apartment number, address and location within the block will be confirmed upon booking and receipt of payment of the deposit
